Privacy Policy

What we collect and why
Our enquiry form collects your name, email address, phone number for Christmas requests, session type, optional preferred date, selected Christmas package, room and requested start time where applicable, privacy acknowledgement and image-sharing preference. We also record a submission reference and time. We use this information to respond, discuss availability and plan your session. Our agreement form also records the session details you enter, your typed name, acceptance of the booking terms, and any separate optional publicity choices. These records help us document your instructions and prepare your written booking confirmation.
If you book, we also use the participant details, photographs, agreed video, payment records and correspondence needed to provide your session, edit and deliver your images, handle questions and meet recordkeeping obligations. Do not enter payment-card details, identification documents or unnecessary medical information in either form. Tell us privately about relevant safety or accessibility needs.
Who processes your information
Sahar uses the details you provide to manage your enquiry and booking. Website forms are stored on Cloudflare hosting and database infrastructure. These forms do not automatically send an email notification: after submitting, you can send the provided follow-up message through WhatsApp. If you contact us through WhatsApp or Instagram, Meta processes those messages under the relevant service’s policies. If Pixieset is used for your booking, agreement or private gallery, it processes the information provided through that service. Interac and your financial institution process an e-transfer; this website does not process that payment.
Relevant service providers may process information outside Canada, where local laws may permit access by public authorities. We do not sell your personal information. We disclose it only for the stated service purposes, with your permission where required, or where legally required. We will tell you if a different provider is needed for your booking.
Photographs, videos and children
Booking and copyright ownership do not grant permission to publish identifiable client photographs or videos. The session agreement asks whether we may share your photographs on our website and Instagram. Neither answer is preselected. This choice does not authorize advertising or video sharing; those uses require separate explicit permission. Declining publicity does not change the price or the service. Permission covers only the person identified in the form; each other identifiable adult must give their own permission. A parent or authorized legal guardian must give permission for a child, with the child’s wishes and ability to understand considered appropriately.
Public images may be viewed, copied and shared by others, including outside Canada. Names and social tags are not included unless separately agreed. You can withdraw optional permission by messaging Sahar. We will stop new uses covered by the withdrawal and remove material we control where reasonably possible. Copies independently made by others may remain. Tell us exactly which person and session your request concerns.
Retention and protection
We retain information only as needed for enquiries, the agreed photography service, consent records, resolving disputes and applicable legal or accounting obligations. A fixed archive or deletion period is not promised here. Your written booking confirmation will state the gallery download window and any agreed image archive period. Download and back up your delivered photographs.
Form records are held in the website database rather than displayed publicly. Public forms provide submission only; they do not provide access to other clients’ records. We limit access to what is needed to run the service and use the hosting provider’s security features. No online transmission or storage is completely risk-free.
Access, correction, deletion and complaints
Message Sahar on WhatsApp to request access to your records, a correction, deletion, withdrawal of optional consent, or an explanation of our practices. We may ask for limited information to verify your identity and authority. We will respond within the time required by applicable privacy law. Some records may have to be retained for legal obligations or an unresolved matter; we will explain any restriction. If we cannot resolve a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Website technology and marketing
The hosting service processes technical request data needed to deliver and protect the website, and may set security cookies. The current site has no added advertising pixels or marketing analytics scripts. External links have their own privacy practices. Enquiry, agreement and publicity forms do not subscribe you to promotional messages. Any promotional subscription must be handled separately with an unsubscribe option.
Changes
We publish updates with an effective date. A material new use of your information will require appropriate notice and consent; updating this page does not retroactively expand your publicity permission.
