Session Terms & Policies
We want your session to feel relaxed and clear from the start. These policies apply to new bookings from October 14, 2026; existing accepted agreements stay as agreed.
Booking & deposit
A flat $80 non-refundable deposit by Interac e-transfer reserves your date. Your date is confirmed once the deposit is received. We’ll confirm availability and send the payment details before you pay. The deposit goes toward your total.
Payment
All prices include HST. The remaining balance is due on your session day — cash or Interac e-transfer, your choice.
Rescheduling & cancellation
You can reschedule once free of charge with at least 7 days’ notice, subject to availability. Cancellations or rescheduling with less than 72 hours’ notice, and no-shows, forfeit the deposit — a new $80 deposit is needed to rebook.
For a change requested between 72 hours and 7 days before your session, please message us to discuss availability and the options before making a new booking.
On the day
Sessions run back-to-back, so please arrive on time. Arriving more than 20 minutes late may shorten your session. Children must be supervised at all times.
Baby sessions follow your little one’s comfort, with time for feeding and soothing. If anyone is unwell, please message us before coming.
Your photos
You’ll receive your edited gallery by download link within 3 weeks of your session. Your photos are for personal use: printing, sharing with family and posting on your own social media.
We only share your photos on our Instagram or website with your explicit permission. You choose “Yes, you may share my photos” or “No, please keep them private” in your session agreement. Neither choice is preselected, and keeping your photos private does not affect your price or session.
Before you book
We confirm your date, Toronto start time, location, package, participants, included images and extras, total price and payment details in writing before you send your deposit. Please check the details and ask us about anything you need. A website request alone does not reserve an appointment. Send an e-transfer only to the payment email Sahar confirms directly in writing.
Care for little ones
A parent or guardian stays with children throughout the session. We never attempt unsafe newborn poses. Please tell us privately about allergies or accessibility needs. For cake smash, we’ll agree on the cake and dietary requirements beforehand.
Keeping and sharing your gallery
Download and back up your photos when your gallery arrives. Your booking confirmation will state the download window. Memo retains copyright; commercial use needs a separate written agreement. RAW files, unedited files, video, extra images and extensive retouching are included only if agreed before booking.
Sharing permission covers only the person named in the agreement. Each adult gives their own permission; a parent or authorized guardian gives permission for a child. Your photo-sharing choice covers our website and Instagram only, not advertising or video. You can message Sahar to withdraw permission. We’ll stop new uses and remove photos we control where reasonably possible; copies shared independently by others may remain. Read our Privacy Policy.
If we need to cancel
If Memo cancels or cannot provide the agreed service, we’ll offer an alternative for you to consider. If no suitable alternative is agreed, we refund payments for the affected session, including the deposit.
Questions and your rights
Message Sahar on WhatsApp if you need help with a change or concern. Ontario and applicable Canadian law apply. These policies do not limit any refund, cancellation or privacy rights provided by law. Changes to a confirmed agreement require both parties’ agreement.
